ABOUT ME

Through my art I merge with the Earth, allowing myself to perceive this World with the vision and thoughts of my experience. Looking back long and deep, I can truly recall every moment when my heart and vision merged to create.
My work represents my "little dreams coming true" in each piece created. I treasure the creative process and draw inspiration from the memories. Those moments are when I truly experience life and myself, happy in the co-creative process.
Working with materials regarded as 'unimportant' - snippets of paper, wire, string I transform these silly things into little treasures.
I have worked in various mediums: Textile design, fashion, jewellery design and window display gaining excellence and recognition.
My work took a new direction after the birth of my daughter Nicoletta. The light she brought into my life has greatly influenced the new orientation and heartfelt inspiration of my work.

I perceive the World now through the eyes of a child, seeking wellness and a conscience in my use of materials. The Ecology in Art has become a subject closest to my heart and the basis of this site - Arthrougheart.
