One of the five sections of the course was
computer art. For this section we had to pretend we were approached
by a client and asked to design an ad campaign for them. I decided
to do a poster and magazine ad, pretending I was approached by Green
Peace and the editor of Nature Magazine, who wanted a hard hitting
campaign to get the message across to the public the future is for
our children & our children's, children. Here is the artwork
I designed in photoshop. The idea of the pregnant lady was to say
any loved one we know or anyone who is pregnant we wrap up in cotton
wool to protect them do the same with earth, look after it after
all its the children of today living in the world tomorrow. In the
right corner I chose a picture of a clock and a egg timer with the
earth being sucked through, basically to say time is ticking. My
main picture I went with a lovely picture of a water fall in the
center to show a bit of nature in the picture. The whole picture
fits in with the title Mother Nature.
