EKPOMA OKPA ASSOCIATION
United Kingdom and Northern Ireland

Mr. Peters Evbota -Vice President

Our membership is open to all indegenes of Ekpoma or those who have long family ties, lived and worked in Ekpoma.

One of the most important satisfaction we get by belonging to an association like ours, is the shared sense of heritage and of family tradition. We renew our knowledge of our local language which most of us, having lived outside our home country for a while, have almost forgotten.

We get to have an update of happenings at home from visiting guests to our monthly meetings. We share ideas and work towards the improvement of our homeland. If you are interested in being part of this prestigious association, please complete our application form and submit for consideration and approval.

Ekpoma Okpa brings to bear an uncommon comaradeship among members and a level of passion for service to our homeland.

Regular Members : Currently, our regular members number 20, but in the new year, we intend to pursue a membership drive spreading our mission to various parts of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

Regular members will have full voting rights and pay the registration fees, plus, monthly dues. They will be encouraged to attend and participate in monthly meetings. Such members will also help establish the direction of the association by notifying our executive members of community or individual needs. Regular members are eligible to be elected to Executive positions.

We are currently reviewing the situation of our indegenes who are unable to attend regular meetings for financial reasons. Such persons will be able to attend meetings in order to have an imput or participate voluntarily in our activities.

Membership Application is available unpon request from the Secretary of the association. Full details of our Constituion is available to those who have applied and have been accepted.
